Language study trip to San Diego, USA
San Diego is a very beautiful and exciting city. There are a multitude of entertainment options as well as possible excursions into the surrounding area. I learnt a lot during my language study trip and my written and oral English skills greatly improved. My teachers surely contributed a lot to that. They were always extremely involved, interested and helpful, and they gave us great advice on trips and cultural occasions. For me, the best thing was the time spent living together with my host family, who really grew dear to my heart. In addition,...

Language study trip to Guadeloupe
I really liked Guadeloupe! There are many sights on the island as well as gorgeous sandy beaches, huge cliffs along the sea, tropical rainforests and an active volcano. There is a family-like atmosphere at the school, the classes are small and they place a lot of emphasis on individual requests and needs. Additionally, the teachers are highly competent and brimming with life in the Caribbean way. As a consequence, I was able to enormously increase my language proficiency in Guadeloupe. I have many great memories of this trip, for example, of the fi...

Language study trip to Montañita, Ecuador
The language school in Montañita was simply great! The teachers were very friendly and designed varied and wide-ranging lessons. I stayed at the school’s Cabanas (bungalows). Those were simply perfect. I lived together with students from many different countries, a really great experience. From day one, we were like a family that grew larger and larger over time. I’ll definitely go on another language study trip with Boa Lingua, because travelling is something that inspires me greatly.

Language study trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA
Fort Lauderdale is an amazing place with much sun, a great beach and glorious nightlife. I was also very pleased with the TLA language school as it is the perfect meeting place for getting to know people with various cultural backgrounds from all around the world. I benefited hugely from the Cambridge class, mainly thanks to the experienced teachers. With motivation and discipline, I was able to reach my final goal, the Cambridge Advanced Certificate. I very much enjoyed the company of my host mum. I would go on another language s...

Language study trip to Noosa, Australia
I really liked my language study trip to Noosa. The town has a very peculiar charm. Besides the beach life, it’s perfect for partying, meeting-up for cosy barbecues or going on many great excursions. I never thought that I would one day really like a school – but this was definitely the case with Lexis English in Noosa. The easy-going and family-like atmosphere really convinced me and I made huge progress with the English language. My great host family certainly also contributed to that. I’m still in touch with them up until today. A language ...

Language study trip to New York, USA
The atmosphere at the St. Giles College in New York is cheerful, casual and greatly contributes to a successful learning experience. The classrooms are pleasantly large and the learning material was taught in a varied way. Apart from the progress at school, I was able to greatly improve my English through talking to the locals, and New York as a city is just great! There are a multitude of cultural events and nightlife options that have something to offer for everybody. I stayed with acquaintances in Queens and I really liked it there. For my nex...

I really liked Victoria. The school’s location and accessibility are excellent. The teachers were friendly and accommodating and drew up inspiring lessons everyday. I was able to make huge progress, as I was extremely involved, both at school and during the leisure time; it was a nonstop language exposure. I hit the jackpot with my host family. They were simply great! Through them, I was able to experience three generations of Canadian culture. Being an open-minded, talkative and positive person helped me to meet many new people. Language study trip to San Diego, USA
I really liked my language study trip to San Diego. The city is very beautiful and there is a lot to see and do. The classes at the Converse International School were exactly as expected and the teachers were highly motivated. The main focus was on conversation, so that I was able to greatly improve my oral English skills. I was extremely lucky with my host mother – great food, a great room and great atmosphere. There are almost boundless activities to be done in this area. Among other things, I went on trips to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I woul...

La Jolla is a nice and quiet area with great beaches and jagged rocky coast lines just outside of San Diego. I really liked the school and I was able to deepen my grammatical knowledge. I also talked a lot to the locals and thus improved my oral English skills. I stayed at an apartment with people from all around the globe. It was amazing and I can only recommend it to everybody. During my free time I did a lot of activities and trips. I particularly liked my trip to Las Vegas. I would go on another language study trip, for example to...

Language study trip to Sydney, Australia
I went on a language study trip to Manly, Sydney and I still wistfully remember those times. I also liked Manly itself very much. The school was very professional and had a lot of extracurricular activities to offer in which I regularly participated. Language-wise I made huge progress, which was surely due to the fact that a lot of the time I hung out with people from all over the world, and I always spoke English to them. I stayed with a nice and sporty family in Manly. I would go on another language study trip anytime. My next destinations ...

Language study trip to Nerja, Spain
Nerja is a typical charming Andalusian small town with many pretty bays. I really liked the school, the teachers are competent, cater to the students’ needs and teach with heart and mind. I made progresses in all areas. I stayed at the residency. The rooms there are clean and conveniently furnished. During my free time, I often participated in activities the school had to offer, but from time to time I also ventured out myself. The students were between the ages of 28 to 74 years old and all very eager to learn. It was possible to casually talk t...

Language study trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina
I was really impressed by the huge choice of nightlife and dining options, music, history, tango and so forth in Buenos Aires. The city, as well as the language school was really great. The lessons were varied and taught in small classes. The teachers told us a lot about Argentina’s history and culture. I’m not fluent in Spanish yet but due to the constant exposure it has already improved a lot. I stayed with a host family because I’m convinced that this is much more beneficial. I will definitely recommend Boa Lingua to others! Advice a...

Language study trip to Sámara, Costa Rica
The language school in Sámara lies directly on the sea and has a lavish garden. The classes are small and the teachers are all very nice. At the beginning, I didn’t know any Spanish at all. Thanks to the school, my host family and conversations with the locals, I made quick progresses. The communication was slightly difficult at the beginning as my host family spoke only Spanish, however, I learnt a lot very quickly. During my off time, I often went to the beach, surfing, kayaking and diving or visiting volcanoes and national parks. Addition...

Language study trip to Rome, Italy
Rome is an enchanting city with many things to discover. The friendliness and helpfulness of the Italians are really impressive. The language school Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci is really great: large and bright classrooms, common rooms, friendly staff, the funniest teachers ever and Wi-Fi throughout the building. I stayed with a 70-year old nun, 5 minutes from the Vatican. I liked it so much, that after three months, I extended my stay for another month. I met many people from all over the world. It is amazing how well a language can be learnt within ...
