Language study trip to Taormina, Italy
To me, Taormina is an extraordinarily pretty place. Picturesque buildings give the town a warm, charming and magical feel. All the proceedings at the language school were well-structured and content-wise at the highest possible level. In terms of language proficiency, I made a huge progress in Taormina, particularly since my host mum was very caring and spent a lot of time with me. The range of leisure time activities on offer by the school was tremendous. Every day, there was a programme that incorporated cultural, sports and literary activities. On location, I met many, many people. I tried to meet up with a diverse range of people in order to get to know as many different personalities and cultures as possible. So far, I have booked three trips through Boa Lingua and I have had nothing but good experiences. I trust this agency.

Language study trip to San Diego, USA
San Diego is a very beautiful and exciting city. There are a multitude of entertainment options as well as possible excursions into the surrounding area. I learnt a lot during my language study trip and my written and oral English skills greatly improved. My teachers surely contributed a lot to that. They were always extremely involved, interested and helpful, and they gave us great advice on trips and cultural occasions. For me, the best thing was the time spent living together with my host family, who really grew dear to my heart. In addition, I also thought it was a life-enhancing and exciting experience to get to know people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. I would go on another language study trip with Boa Lingua in a heartbeat. There are more than enough fascinating destinations!

Language study trip to Guadeloupe
I really liked Guadeloupe! There are many sights on the island as well as gorgeous sandy beaches, huge cliffs along the sea, tropical rainforests and an active volcano. There is a family-like atmosphere at the school, the classes are small and they place a lot of emphasis on individual requests and needs. Additionally, the teachers are highly competent and brimming with life in the Caribbean way. As a consequence, I was able to enormously increase my language proficiency in Guadeloupe. I have many great memories of this trip, for example, of the first wave I was able to ride or of the giant turtles that we watched. I have already booked two language study trips with Boa Lingua, and my next one is also going to be organized by the competent and friendly employees of the agency.

Philipp Strickler
Language study trip to Montañita, Ecuador
The language school in Montañita was simply great! The teachers were very friendly and designed varied and wide-ranging lessons. I stayed at the school’s Cabanas (bungalows). Those were simply perfect. I lived together with students from many different countries, a really great experience. From day one, we were like a family that grew larger and larger over time. I’ll definitely go on another language study trip with Boa Lingua, because travelling is something that inspires me greatly.

Language study trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA
Fort Lauderdale is an amazing place with much sun, a great beach and glorious nightlife. I was also very pleased with the TLA language school as it is the perfect meeting place for getting to know people with various cultural backgrounds from all around the world. I benefited hugely from the Cambridge class, mainly thanks to the experienced teachers. With motivation and discipline, I was able to reach my final goal, the Cambridge Advanced Certificate. I very much enjoyed the company of my host mum. I would go on another language study trip to the USA right away. The booking of the accommodation, flight and school via Boa Lingua went very smoothly and without any problems.

Ivan Aeschbacher
Language study trip to Noosa, Australia
I really liked my language study trip to Noosa. The town has a very peculiar charm. Besides the beach life, it’s perfect for partying, meeting-up for cosy barbecues or going on many great excursions. I never thought that I would one day really like a school – but this was definitely the case with Lexis English in Noosa. The easy-going and family-like atmosphere really convinced me and I made huge progress with the English language. My great host family certainly also contributed to that. I’m still in touch with them up until today. A language study trip is an experience that you’ll remember forever. I would recommend it to everybody – of course with Boa Lingua.

Mirjam Rechsteiner
Language study trip to New York, USA
The atmosphere at the St. Giles College in New York is cheerful, casual and greatly contributes to a successful learning experience. The classrooms are pleasantly large and the learning material was taught in a varied way. Apart from the progress at school, I was able to greatly improve my English through talking to the locals, and New York as a city is just great! There are a multitude of cultural events and nightlife options that have something to offer for everybody. I stayed with acquaintances in Queens and I really liked it there. For my next language study strip I would choose between the destinations of England, Florida or Argentina. My customer consultant at Boa Lingua was very competent and extremely friendly. I can only recommend Boa Lingua.

I really liked Victoria. The school’s location and accessibility are excellent. The teachers were friendly and accommodating and drew up inspiring lessons everyday. I was able to make huge progress, as I was extremely involved, both at school and during the leisure time; it was a nonstop language exposure. I hit the jackpot with my host family. They were simply great! Through them, I was able to experience three generations of Canadian culture. Being an open-minded, talkative and positive person helped me to meet many new people. Language study trip to San Diego, USA
I really liked my language study trip to San Diego. The city is very beautiful and there is a lot to see and do. The classes at the Converse International School were exactly as expected and the teachers were highly motivated. The main focus was on conversation, so that I was able to greatly improve my oral English skills. I was extremely lucky with my host mother – great food, a great room and great atmosphere. There are almost boundless activities to be done in this area. Among other things, I went on trips to Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I would go on another language study trip right away and I have only praise for Boa Lingua – from the first contact until the very end of the trip. Keep up the great job!

Language study trip to La Jolla - San Diego, USA
La Jolla is a nice and quiet area with great beaches and jagged rocky coast lines just outside of San Diego. I really liked the school and I was able to deepen my grammatical knowledge. I also talked a lot to the locals and thus improved my oral English skills. I stayed at an apartment with people from all around the globe. It was amazing and I can only recommend it to everybody. During my free time I did a lot of activities and trips. I particularly liked my trip to Las Vegas. I would go on another language study trip, for example to Tokyo, Seoul or Stockholm anytime. Boa Lingua’s service was excellent and my consultant was very competent.

Janine Stählin
Language study trip to San Diego, USA
I liked San Diego incredibly. The people are very nice and helpful and there are boundless leisure time activities. The school was excellent and my teacher was great. I had a lot of fun going to class. We benefited hugely from the classes being relatively small. I stayed with young people from many different countries at the centrally located students' residence «Vantaggio». I met many nice people. There was always a lot going on during the evenings and at the weekends. I became really addicted to language study trips. I have already booked my next stay – of course with Boa Lingua.

Cafer Yildirim
Language study trip to Sydney, Australia
I went on a language study trip to Manly, Sydney and I still wistfully remember those times. I also liked Manly itself very much. The school was very professional and had a lot of extracurricular activities to offer in which I regularly participated. Language-wise I made huge progress, which was surely due to the fact that a lot of the time I hung out with people from all over the world, and I always spoke English to them. I stayed with a nice and sporty family in Manly. I would go on another language study trip anytime. My next destinations would be the USA or Canada. Boa Lingua provided me with excellent advice and they implemented exactly what I was striving for.

Erika Schläfli
Language study trip to Nerja, Spain
Nerja is a typical charming Andalusian small town with many pretty bays. I really liked the school, the teachers are competent, cater to the students’ needs and teach with heart and mind. I made progresses in all areas. I stayed at the residency. The rooms there are clean and conveniently furnished. During my free time, I often participated in activities the school had to offer, but from time to time I also ventured out myself. The students were between the ages of 28 to 74 years old and all very eager to learn. It was possible to casually talk to everybody. The 14 days in Nerja exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended Boa Lingua to others.

Lina Larsson
Language study trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina
I was really impressed by the huge choice of nightlife and dining options, music, history, tango and so forth in Buenos Aires. The city, as well as the language school was really great. The lessons were varied and taught in small classes. The teachers told us a lot about Argentina’s history and culture. I’m not fluent in Spanish yet but due to the constant exposure it has already improved a lot. I stayed with a host family because I’m convinced that this is much more beneficial. I will definitely recommend Boa Lingua to others! Advice and service were great, otherwise I wouldn’t have booked trough them three times already.

Linda Zimmermann
Language study trip to Sámara, Costa Rica
The language school in Sámara lies directly on the sea and has a lavish garden. The classes are small and the teachers are all very nice. At the beginning, I didn’t know any Spanish at all. Thanks to the school, my host family and conversations with the locals, I made quick progresses. The communication was slightly difficult at the beginning as my host family spoke only Spanish, however, I learnt a lot very quickly. During my off time, I often went to the beach, surfing, kayaking and diving or visiting volcanoes and national parks. Additionally, I had the privilege to make many new friends from all over the world. I am already planning my next language study trip – of course with Boa Lingua.

Manuela Pfammatter
Language study trip to Rome, Italy
Rome is an enchanting city with many things to discover. The friendliness and helpfulness of the Italians are really impressive. The language school Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci is really great: large and bright classrooms, common rooms, friendly staff, the funniest teachers ever and Wi-Fi throughout the building. I stayed with a 70-year old nun, 5 minutes from the Vatican. I liked it so much, that after three months, I extended my stay for another month. I met many people from all over the world. It is amazing how well a language can be learnt within such a short amount of time. Boa Lingua is GREAT. They are very competent and anytime available to deal with your questions.

Language study trip to Maroochydore, Australia
If you’re into surfing, the Australian lifestyle and lounging around on gorgeous beaches, then Maroochydore is the right place for you. The language school is excellent. It is centrally located and only a few minutes by foot from the beach. I felt really at ease with my host family, everything was perfect there. I met a lot of new people with whom I went on trips during the weekend or met up to go to the beach or for barbecues. One of the best experiences was a sailing trip to the Whitsunday Islands. Such a language study trip was an amazing experience, and I would make a booking with Boa Lingua again right away. They offer a huge choice of destinations and they give great advice.

Gaby Fieger
Language study trip to Montreal, Canada
I really like Montreal – the city is versatile and has something to offer for every taste. The language school is very well organized and the teachers extensively accommodate the students’ needs. The school also offers a varied program of leisure time activities. I felt completely at ease with my host family and I could even practice my favourite hobby – playing the piano. At the end of the course I reached my goal – I was able to express myself and talk freely. I’m already dreaming about returning to Montreal and to deepen my knowledge of the language. I will further recommend Boa Lingua, because the consultation was very extensive and the information provided was comprehensive and correct.

Robin Schöni
Language study trip to Cape Town, South Africa
Cape Town is a unique place. The scenery with the Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill is unbelievable. In terms of culture and culinary delights, Cape Town has certainly more to offer than many other cities in the world. The value for money you’re getting is sensational and the South Africans are great people. The inlingua language school is extremely centrally located and within the small classes studying was very efficient. Only a handful of Swiss were enrolled at the school and I spent my free time mainly with locals thus making a quantum leap in language proficiency. I am already planning my next language study trip to France, which I again will book through Boa Lingua. Their advice and guidance was simply great!

Andreas Santschi

Cape Town is superbly set and has much going on. The school is easily accessible and I am impressed how dedicated and motivated all of the employees are – from the office workers to the general managers. The teachers are very involved and offer a strong and varied training program. Due to the targeted and perfectly structured training program I made good progress. I stayed at the hotel and everything was perfect there. I will certainly return to Cape Town one day. Further destinations that I would like to visit for a language study trip are: Playa del Carmen, Tahiti or Guadeloupe. I will most certainly recommend Boa Lingua to others.

Justine Wohlhauser
Language study trip to Quito, Ecuador
Discovering South America was a dream that I’ve had for a long time. Therefore, my stay in Ecuador remains memorable. The two months I stayed with a family in Quito were absolutely amazing and very appealing. Besides being small, Ecuador is a very diverse country I was able to discover with all its facets. Being open-minded and feeling comfortable and due to the very warm welcome I received from the natives, I was able to attain a more than satisfactory level of Spanish. I finished my trip with a month at the coast of Ecuador, in Montanita. A small village, that is absolutely incredible for all fans of cocktails and of the surf.

Patrick Slaboch
Language study trip to Cape Town, South Africa
Cape Town is simply genius! It wasn’t my last stay there, for sure. The city has so much to offer: a vibrant nightlife scene, lots of cultural events and fascinating people. You’re quickly and easily getting to know many new people - that was what I liked the most. Kruger National Park and the Garden Route also made a long lasting impression on me. I had booked private lessons and thus was able to achieve huge progresses. I would have liked to stay for one more month. I can definitely recommend Boa Lingua.

Sabrina Kradolfer
Language study trip to Auckland, New Zealand
The range of leisure activities and entertainment options in Auckland and its surrounding areas is huge. I particularly liked the many lush green parks, where nature always seemed to be near by. During my language training, I stayed with a host family residing in close vicinity to the One Tree Hill Park. I felt like home at the family’s place and I would have liked to stay there forever. Due to small class sizes, lessons were very efficient, and I practiced a lot of English during my time with the host family. As a consequence, I benefited enormously. My efforts came to fruition: I was rewarded with the Cambridge First Certificate diploma. I always knew why I had chosen Boa Lingua! The school was by far the best in town.

Deborah Lippuner
Language studies abroad in the U.S.
Santa Monica is a wonderful place. The beach stretches for miles and I particularly enjoyed the great weather and the relaxed atmosphere. During classes, the teacher always responded to our individual needs. I really made progress during my language studies in the U.S. and at the end I even thought in English. Boa Lingua’s organization was perfect and I can recommend the agency in any case.

Ivan Casanova
I have never experienced such a highly concentrated mixture of culture and entertainment as in New York City. A city to inhale. The school is contemporary modern and is located on Fifth Avenue next to the Empire State Building. The teachers were very helpful and taught at a high level. The language course has paid off for me in every respect, not only as far as it concerns my language skills, but also on a personal level. I can definitely recommend Boa Lingua. Never change a winning team! Keep it up.

Tino Rutishauser
During my language study trip to Bristol, I gathered quite a bit of additional knowledge. I can now comprehend much faster and better and furthermore I can now talk fluently without much hesitation. This is probably because I was talking almost exclusively in English whilst there – hence the huge progress. Bristol is a very beautiful town that is neither too big nor too small. There are plenty of entertainment options for language students as well as many places worth visiting. The language school was very well organized. The teachers actively deal with the students and the leisure time program was really varied. I can definitely recommend Boa Lingua since I couldn’t imagine any better counselling. I am already looking forward to my next language study trip to Australia.
