LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN ROME
Dilit International House, founded in 1974, is an established, well-known language school in Rome and is part of the International House group. The language school is located in the heart of the “Eternal City”, only a few minutes walk from the central station and the attractions of ancient Rome. The school’s teaching staff are experienced and have an excellent reputation. Italian is the mother tongue of all teachers, who have a diploma in teaching foreign languages in addition to being university graduates. Dilit has a pronounced international orientation, with students from over 80 countries. The school’s infrastructure is excellent, comprising a video room (DVD and VHS), a computer room with free Internet access, a snack bar and a theatre stage for school productions.
ACCOMMODATION
Dilit International House arranges accommodation in selected host families in single rooms with breakfast or half board (breakfast and evening meal). The school also offers rooms in executive host families or in apartments with other students (shared use of bathroom and kitchen). Details and availability are available upon request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school arranges interesting and varied activities such as film and discussion evenings, theatre performances, seminars and parties. In addition, the school organizes a variety of excursions in and around Rome. Many students explore the city on their own. The more time one takes “submerging” in the life of the Piazzas and strolling in the streets and alleys, some of which are decidedly “unimproved”, the better, for Rome is a wonderful city with an enormous amount to be discovered.
