LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BUENOS AIRES
Amauta Spanish School is located in the residential area of Belgrano. There is shopping, cafés, restaurants, cinemas, and restaurants in the adjacent areas and only three blocks away is the well-known park, ‘Barrancas de Belgrano.’ The school is situated in an office building and has six well-appointed and modern classrooms, a multi-media room, an internet café (with free internet for students), a kitchen, study room, lounge and a small garden. All instructors at the school are native Spanish speakers and are knowledgeable in the areas of history and culture, which they build into the lessons.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Many of the carefully-selected host families are in close proximity to the school, within about 30 minutes by public transportation, and provide single rooms with half board (breakfast and dinner). Alternative options include a student residence (with half board) or apartments (self-catering). Further details available upon request.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school plans a number of activities, including city tours, tango lessons, cooking lessons, movie nights, visits to museums, sightseeing, or soccer games. As well, trips to a ranch or excursions to Tigre. Some activities are included in the course price; others are user-pay.
