If you want to have a look across the city from above, you should visit the Convento de la Popa from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view across the harbour and the sea stretching out below in a deeply turquoise colour. White sandy beaches, crystal clear water and numerous romantic spots are to be found less than 2 hours away from the mainland. 50 kilometres outside the city, Colombia’s highest mountain range rises up to more than 5,700 meters – the Sierra Nevada de Santa Maria.
