LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BRISBANE
The Langports English Language College is located on Herschel Street in the city center. The Brisbane River is only 200 meters away from the school building. Shops, restaurants, bars and cinemas are in the immediate vicinity of the school. South Bank Parklands and City Beach can be reached within 10 minutes. Langports is housed on three floors in a modern building, the infrastructure of which was completely renewed in early 2013. Twenty two bright and modern classrooms, two computer labs, a library and Wi-Fi complete the school’s equipment. During breaks or after class, students meet in the beautifully designed lounge or outside areas of the school and have fun playing table tennis and billiards. In the kitchen, microwaves and refrigerators are available for general use. The school's central location, dedicated teachers and modern infrastructure speaks for itself.
ACCOMMODATION
Langports English Language College arranges single room with half board (full board on weekends) in carefully selected host families. The families normally live about 30 to 40 minutes from the school by bus. Other types of accommodation can be arranged if desired. Details are available upon request.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Our partner school arranges a range of weekend trips to Byron Bay, Moreton Island, Fraser Island or the Great Barrier Reef. Other activities include organized BBQs, visits to films and festivals and sporting activities (riding, football, beach volleyball, etc). Sports enthusiasts are particularly delighted with Brisbane, as the city offers a wide range of opportunities: golfing, diving, football, tennis, waterskiing or skydiving, to name but a few.
