LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN AUCKLAND
Languages International was founded in 1978 and is one of New Zealand’s oldest language schools. It enjoys an excellent reputation, thanks to its highly qualified teachers and its years of experience. Alongside the standard and extensive courses, the Cambridge preparatory courses are especially recommended, and the success rate of students is very high. Both the attractive school buildings have been recently renovated and are classified as historic buildings. They are in Albert Park, close to the University of Auckland in the city centre; a few minutes’ walk from the inner city. The school has modern technical equipment, a library and its own dining hall. The clubhouse on the school grounds serves as a meeting place during breaks. The school is managed personally by an innovative couple, for whom looking after the students is the main focus. Our rating: New Zealand’s best language school.
ACCOMMODATION
Languages International offers single rooms with half board in host families (full board on weekends). Families are normally located between 20 and 40 minutes from the school by bus. Other types of accommodation can be arranged on request. Transfers from the airport to the host family are free of charge.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The school organizes regular excursions and evening programs, such as theatre visits, dinners and BBQs. Water sports are especially popular in Auckland, but virtually any other sport is also available. The school has a full time recreation coordinator who is happy to provide information about the full range of possibilities.
